Ready to Learn Legal Spanish?
Starting January 22, American University Washington College of Law will offer its new, semester-long Legal Spanish Program for lawyers who speak Spanish but have difficulty using complex legal terms in their client interactions and legal work. The program introduces participants to legal concepts and provides practical communication skills in Spanish. Through weekly lectures, written assignments, discussions, and in-class exercises, participants will practice a wide array of legal Spanish skills ranging from legal reading and writing strategies to oral presentation of substantive legal issues.
