This is an opportunity for an unpaid legal internship/externship for the Spring semester with the Democratic Staff of a Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Committee has jurisdiction over any action taken by the federal government; therefore, the selected individual would have an opportunity to work on a range of activities, including congressional investigations, departmental and executive branch oversight, along with legislative responsibilities. The intern would be required to work at least 2 days per week, with a preference of working 3 days per week or more. Interns would be required to start no later than the second or third week of January. We are particularly interested in applicants with an interest in financial services, health care, energy, federal workforce, government organization and/or labor policy matters.
We would like an individual to begin the Spring legal internship position with the Committee no later than the second or third week of January. All candidates should submit their resume to no later than Wednesday, December 18 to:
