Summer 2015 Associate Position


Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking applications for the 2015 summer program from current 2L law students for our Washington, D.C., New York & San Francisco offices.  Academics are a very important part of our hiring decisions; students must be in the top 10-15% of their class or have a minimum 3.5 G.P.A. Equally important are characteristics showing strength of character, leadership, and diversity. These characteristics are evident by leadership roles, Law Review, Moot Court and journal participation, work experience, student activities, and one’s personal and unique backgrounds. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter noting your office preference,  resume and law school transcripts (unofficial versions are acceptable).

Summer 2015 McGuireWoods Internship Program(Paid)

McGuireWoods LLP, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), and the NAPABA Law Foundation (NLF) invite you to apply for the McGuireWoods/NLF Internship Program Summer 2015. The Program supports students interested in the legal profession and helps students develop a commitment to advocacy on behalf of the Asian Pacific American (APA) community. The Program seeks to achieve these goals by providing undergraduate and law school students with meaningful internship experiences at the NAPABA office in Washington D.C.

For the summer of 2015, the Program will award stipends to one full-time law clerk and one full-time undergraduate intern. The law clerk (who shall be a law student) will be given a stipend of $4,500 to work for 40 hours for 10 weeks. The undergraduate intern will be given a stipend of $3,000 to work for NAPABA for 40 hours per week for 10 weeks. Funding for this program is generously provided by McGuireWoods LLP.
