The Jessup Competition is the world’s largest and most prestigious law school moot court competition, bringing together a diverse group of international law experts and students from around the world. The International Law Students Association is offering opportunities for students and interested individuals to serve as bailiffs at this year’s competition. The Jessup Competition offers students the unique experience of: networking with esteemed legal professionals and students; witnessing a top-level mooting contest; and volunteering for an organization that promotes international law through improved access to legal education.
This year, we are looking for Bailiffs who are organized, motivated, and timely to help moderate rounds between April 6th and April 8th. There are 5 rounds on each of these days for which you can volunteer: 9am -11am; 11:30am -1:30pm; 2pm-4pm; 4:30pm- 6:30pm; and 7pm-9pm. The Competition will take place at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill, just a few blocks from Union Station.
If you are interested in the Jessup and would like to learn more about volunteer opportunities this year, please read the attached PDF. You can find out more about the Jessup and about our organization on our website: www.ilsa.org or by emailing Jason Czerwiec at Jason@ilsa.org.
