The Department of Defense is currently seeking applicants for the paid Pathways Summer Internship.

Each year the Office of General Counsel seeks high achieving law students to participate in the OSD Honors Legal Internship Program. The program provides an introduction to the dynamic legal environment of the Department of Defense and affords participants a wide variety of learning experiences. The program is expected to start on June 6, 2016.

The position operates under the guidance and supervision of the Chief Justice, the eighty-one Associate Justices, and the Manager and Assistant Manager of Legal Research Services.

Court of Justice Judge Thomas Buergenthal, and a discussion of Dispute Settlement with Iran: From the Hostage Crisis to the Nuclear Accord with key negotiators from the U.S. Department of State.

The IRS Office of Chief Counsel is currently seeking applicants for a spring semester internship

Several unpaid positions are available for semester-long internships for 2Ls, 3Ls, and LLM students in the Small Business/Self-Employed Division of the IRS Office of Chief Counsel Washington DC field office. Law Clerks will be supervised by an attorney within one of three Small Business/Self Employed groups. Law Clerks will provide litigation assistance for Tax Court cases, and provide legal assistance to IRS personnel administering the tax code. Assignments may include drafting Tax Court pleadings and motions, preparing and analyzing cases to present to the court, and discrete legal research assignments.
